I consider myself very blessed to do what I love and get paid for it. There is nothing more satisfying than working with clients transforming their vacant houses into warm, inviting homes with mass appeal. I treat every staging job as if it’s the most important job I will ever have – that is the relentless perfectionist in me.
When a Realtor, builder, architect, investment company or homeowner puts their trust in me to stage their home, I take that VERY seriously. After all, they are selling, in most cases their biggest investment, and it’s my job to make sure their home stands out and shines above the competition…..in person and online with our beautifully edited MLS (Multiple Listing Service) photos.
Every home and client is unique and every staging design is different. We take pride in thinking of every last detail from fresh flowers, to extra light-bulbs, extension cords, hiding wires, even bringing soap and toilette paper for the Broker’s open.
For this particular staging job I met with Susan, the owner of this charming house and we hit it off instantly. Susan is a ray of sunshine and a delightful woman. She welcomed me into her home and put her complete faith in me, trusting that I could transform her vacant house back to the warm, beautiful home is once was when she and her family occupied it.
My goal was to exceed her expectations. As I toured her house I could see untapped potential in every room. I photographed each space and went back to my office and began strategically designing each room.
As the chief designer of Elite Staging and Redesign, I meticulously choose the appropriate furniture and complementing accessories that will showcase each home we stage. This is a process and not something we just throw together. No two furniture designs are the same. We factor in your target buyer, home’s style and architectural features, color pallet, room size, function and footprint while creating emotional connections with buyers.
We give every staging project 110%, which is why we never stage more than 1 large vacant home in a week. Moreover, we give each home and client our undivided attention from the consultation to furniture and accessory design, staging installation, and photographing your home for MLS (Multiple Listing Service). We pride ourselves on getting your fully edited photos to you and your Realtor via email within 48 hours of completing the job. We understand how important top quality MLS photos are because that’s where 90% of buyers start their home search.
Elite Staging and Redesign worked tirelessly to showcase and beautifully transform Susan’s home so that buyers could easily envision themselves living in this charming, lovely house set on a spectacular piece of property. Susan’s home is now ready for the real estate market! Please join me on a “before and after” tour of her beautiful, traditional home in Madison, NJ…
Foyer Before: empty and stark…
After: warm and inviting…
Living room before: white walls don’t have to be boring…
When you create a chic, updated living room…and notice the room appears larger with furniture!
Furniture arrangement can be confusing to buyers in a large family room…
Once staged you can see exactly how the spacious family room functions…
We were able to work with Susan’s existing window treatments…
And they blended seamlessly into the overall design…
The kitchen, the heart of the home, needed warmth…
By placing well appointed accessories we breathed life into this spacious kitchen…
Removing everything off the counters is old school. Kitchens need warmth and personality…
And now this kitchen says, “Come on in and enjoy a meal!”
The dining room was in desperate need of a focal point…
This over sized mirror did the trick, drawing your eye into the space…
The master bedroom curtains dated this space and detracted from its huge potential…
We put up simple sheers and now this master bedroom feels like a calming retreat…
As you can see Susan’s home was not lacking curb appeal…
The point of this post is to demonstrate to sellers how home staging can transform your vacant home (as seen in the before and after photos) into a buyer’s dream. Seeing is believing. The reality is 90% of buyers can not visualize a home’s potential when it’s unfurnished. Not convinced? Check out our portfolio of work to see many more transformations like Susan’s home. Moreover, 85% of the homes we staged went under contract within a month.
Elite Staging and Redesign just finished this job and Susan’s home is now on the market. When She and her Realtor saw the home they were both stunned and excited, expressing how thrilled they were with the results. The ever thoughtful Susan noticed and commented on every detail and we have since become friends, making this one of the most rewarding staging jobs to date.
